My Philosophy
At the end of each day, I ask myself, “Are my actions enriching the lives of the dogs I care for?” I am always adapting and updating my methods to ensure that I can answer that question with a firm, “YES!” I believe in prioritizing the needs of our canine customers above all else because a happy dog means a happy dog parent. I only use force free, fear free, positive reinforcement training techniques to make sure all the furry friends feel comfortable and safe, so that they’ll want to keep learning new things.

A little bit about me:
I have been a professional dog trainer and canine behavior specialist for 20 years, working with pet parents and their pups with behavioral issues such as reactivity, separation anxiety, aggression, shyness, and fearfulness, as well as doing puppy training and enrichment consulting. I worked in the veterinary field for nine years. In 2000 I started my pet care business, offering pet sitting and dog walking specializing in pets who need extra care. In 2016 I opened my Doggy Daycare Enrichment Center in Seaside,CA.
I complete continuing education each year and hold numerous certifications and credentials including CPDT- KA, IAABC-ADT Accredited Professional Dog Trainer, Fear Free Professional Animal Trainer, Fear Free Doggy Day Care Provider, AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Therapy Dog Trainer and Certified Enrichment Technician. I was voted “Monterey County Best” in the Monterey County Herald for four years running in two categories, Best Dog Training and Best Doggy Daycare.
